He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Murphy and Phyllis Murphy (Ruehl). He is survived by: his sister Karen Laubert; his wife Ellen Y. (McIntrye); his children, Mindy Crick (Patrick), Jennifer R. Furness (Craig), Michael Murphy (Colleen) and Miranda Murphy (Kenneth Joerndt); his grandchildren, Morgan, Tanner, Travis and Chase; his great grandchildren, Kenny and Bristol; Randy Quay and Mary Epling.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ravenna Eagles Club (812 Cleveland Rd, Ravenna, OH 44266).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Crossroads Hospice or Portage County APL.
