He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Parnell and Priscilla Lloyd (Wheeler); and his siblings, Jean Hampton, Lorraine Robinson and Joseph Parnell.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Parnell (Gibson); his children, Marprisa Mariner (Marcus), Robert Parnell, Jr. (Janice) and Marchele Parnell; his stepson Todd Wright (Julianne); his grandchildren, Marquis, Markayla, Marissa, Sierra and Sydney; his great grandchild Nolan; and his sister Doris Neloms.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
