He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Lee and Grayce Elizabeth Dorsey (Parker); and his siblings, Patricia Bettinger, Robert Lee Dorsey, Charlotte Trapp-Leech, Charles Dorsey and Linda Dorsey-Near.

He is survived by : his children, Joseph Dorsey (Kim) and Nikki Arbeznik; his grandchildren, Amy Kirt (Mark), Brian Arbeznik (Alisha) and Joey Dorsey; and his great grandchild Riley Kirt.
