He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Clanin and Serena Clanin (Gill); and his brothers, James and Marshall Clanin. He is survived by: his wife Norma Clanin (Baker); his sister Judith Ann Garver of Columbus; his nieces and nephews, James Garver (Kerri), Spencer Garver, Eugene Neal, Kelly Mason (Craig), Arianna Garver, Loretta Covert (Stanley), Debbie Holmes, Tammy Gebara (Sotero Juan) and Sherrie Daubenmier (John); and his close friends, LeAnne Anklan (Matt) and Evan Carter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home (205 W Sandusky St, Findlay, OH 45840). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or to a Local PBS Station.
