He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl Welch and Ellen Welch (Campbell); his brother Wayne Welch; his grandsons, Dillon Flint and Brandon Eck; and his stepson Luke Davis.
He is survived by: his former wife Ann Rankey-Welch (Roidt); his children, Amy Eck (Terry) of Findlay, Amanda Welch (Paul Cavanaugh) of Centennial, Colorado and Cameron Welch (Alicia Bernes) of Mentor, Ohio; his stepdaughter Hope Davis (Josh Numbers) of Findlay; his siblings, Marilyn Wymer of Bluffton and Norman Welch of Ada; and his former wife Connie Leeper of Findlay. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Jenera Community Building (18800 OH-698, Jenera, OH 45841).
