He is survived by: his children, Bradley W. Rettig (Jodie Byam) of Findlay, Christine A. Fragapane (Carmen) of Williamsburg, VA, Steven J. Rettig (Pam) of Rawson and Susan B. Long (Jason) of Findlay; his siblings, Alan Rettig (Jannie) of Cary, NC and Marilyn Handy of Largo, FL; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Rettig of Arlington; his grandchildren, Jesse Rettig (Emily), Kate Clevenger (Andrew), Bryce Rettig and Kolyn Rettig; and his great grandchildren, Weston, James, Emilia, Maren, Hollie and Latham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church (300 S Main St, Arlington, OH 45814).
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Hope Lutheran Church in Arlington or Redeemer Lutheran Church in Findlay.
