He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Scott Latham of Latham's Garage and Blanche Gertrude Smith Latham; his son Mark A. Latham; and his siblings, Donald D. Latham and Patricia A. Latham Shanfelt.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Benroth; his children, Melissa Jo Newton (Mark) and John Paul Latham (Cindy); his grandchildren, Emily Newton, Jessica Arthur (Caleb), Tyler Latham (Jessica), Deidre Majoy (Tim) and Levi Latham; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Revkah, Micah, Hazel Arthur, Jack, Kace, Cash, Joel Latham, Jade and Rueben Majoy.
