He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Cooper and Helen Catherine Bloomfield Cooper; his son Guy Cooper; and his siblings, Danny Cooper, Lloyd Cooper, Thomas Cooper, Glenda Cooper and Linda Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma R. Sheets Cooper; his daughters, Carita Vititoe and Rhoda Mullins (John); and his sisters, Joyce Fuller (Roger), Patty Wallin (Leck), Phyllis Stone, Brenda England, Winnie Aurand and Carolyn Lambert (Sam). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Floyd's memory be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
