He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. McKinniss and Frances A. McKinniss (Clark); his wife Rosemary; his daughter Dody Anne McKinniss; his brother Charles McKinniss; and his grandson Trevor S. Hendricks of Indiana.
He is survived by: his children, Donald A. McKinniss, Sherry L. West, Lorin G. McKinniss and Sandra L. Schmitt; his siblings, Christine Cook and Chester L. McKinniss; and his grandchildren, Laura Gail, Shanda, Caitlyn, Davis, Erin, Chloe, Colin and Carleigh. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
