He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pernick and Elizabeth Pernick (Marzley); his son Greg Pernick; and his siblings, Andrew "Babbe", Richard, Raymond Pernick, Louise Poluga and Betty Pernick.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Pernick (Blankenhorn); his children, Donald Pernick (Kiri) and Lisa Burdine; and his siblings, Fred (Diane), George Pernick (Norma), Edna Atwood and Violet Robinson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
