She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Reynard and Alma Reynard (Scott); her son Kevin Matthews; and her brothers, Richard and Ronald Reynard.

She is survived by : her husband James A. Matthews, Jr.; and her children, Cindy Stingle of Rayland, Jamie Frederick (Steve) of Dillonvale, OH, Lisa Valuska (Mike) of Dillonvale, OH, Kim Spell (David) of Rayland and Melissa Smith (Tim) of Bloomingdale, OH. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes & Crematory (107 Hill St, Smithfield, OH 43948). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
