She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Compton and Mae Compton (Derifield); her close friend Don Beck; her son Randy Giles; and her grandson Torrie Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Giles (Ruth) of Broadway, Cheri Covrett (Mike) of Raymond and Cathi Griffith of Bellefontaine; and her grandchildren, Brian Lane (Rhonda), Patty Galloway (Mike), Lora Boysel (Micah), Jay Giles, Angie Schwieterman (Ryan), Miranda Green (Dana), Tiffany Miller (Matt), Shannon Czarnecki (Kenny) and Michael Covrett. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
