He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Hauret and George Hauret; and his sister Phyllis Wilson. He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph Pierce, David Pierce (Ann), Sanford Pierce (Abbey), Roxi Shanks, Bernitta Duncan (late John) and Buddy Pierce (late Esther); and his partner Raymond L. Benjamin.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Power of Pentecost Church (3150 W 58th St, Cleveland, OH 44102).
