We bid farewell to Roger C. Hummell of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Roger touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Leon and Virginia Belle Hummell (Miller); his daughter Regina Lee Davis; and his brothers, Fred, Jesse and Bill.
He is survived by: his former wife Catherine J. McLaughlin; his daughter Rebecca Posey (Michael); his sister Mary Jane Davis; and his grandchildren, John Michael Hummell (Kelcey), Ashleigh Carroll (Chad), Jessyca Simmons (Ben Hughes), Jannalyn DeWitt (Gauge) and Kaitlyn Davis-Urig. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Canal Winchester (650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home (650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Canal Winchester (650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110).
