Though Anton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Jennifer Burke (Tom) and Kristin Wilson (Kirk); his grandchildren, Nora, Lillian, Henry Burke and Zachary Wilson; and his sister Boža Bubnič of Slovenia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home (2800 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the Slovenian National Home.
