He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Hlavin and Anne Hlavin. He is survived by: his wife Laura Hlavin; his brother Wayne (Lorraine); his sons, Daniel (Kathryn), Andrew (Sopitar) and Timothy (Katherine); his grandchildren, Jack William Hlavin, Nora Lisa Hlavin, William Edward Hlavin, Phoebe Anne Hlavin and Thomas Ananda Hlavin; and his nieces, Katherine (Joshua) and Hannah (Evan).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Portage Country Club (240 N Portage Path, Akron, OH 44303).
