She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Colbert and Margaret Boggs (Lake); her husband Dr. Charles William Holcomb; her son Timothy Brandt Holcomb; and her brothers, Thornton Lake Boggs and Ralph Colbert Boggs Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dr. James W. Holcomb (Catalina Bazacliu) of Newberry, Ann Holcomb of New York City, Sally Wiley (Joseph) of Richwood and Mary Price (Michael) of Richwood; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Holcomb, Amy Pearce (Seth), James Mihai Holcomb, Sarah Wiley (Adam Boerger), Mark Wiley (Amanda), Lauren Wiley (Matt Rupp), Jennifer Sheetz (Mike), Cory Holcomb, William Price (Lexie) and Taylor Lawrence (Jake). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She made a lasting contribution to future generations through work with scholarship programs.
