He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sloop and Louise Sloop (Willoby); and his granddaughter Carlie Gaston. He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" Sloop (Sines); his daughters, Stacie Sedgwick (Arty) of Richwood and Carrie Sloop of Richwood; his grandchildren, Lauren Sedgwick (Nathan Stout), Kayla Sedgwick, Trey Sedgwick (Brittanee), Shelby Sedgwick (Seth Harriman), Courtney McFatter (Josh) and Corbin Gaston; his great grandchildren, Sutton Stout, Aden Harriman, Rebecca Sedgwick, Aria Sedgwick, Raelynn Sedgwick and Adeline McFatter; and his sister Willa Amstutz (Dave) of Richwood.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Claibourne Cemetery (26763 OH-37, Richwood, OH 43344).
