He was predeceased by : his parents, Calvin Pollitt and Flossie Pollitt (Simms); his wife Jean Pollitt; his daughter Darlene Horn; and his grandson Joshua Thornberry.
He is survived by : his children, Bonnie Leonard (Jim) of Ripley, Sherrie Mefford of Maysville, Kentucky, Jackie Pollitt of Ripley and James Pollitt of Ripley; and his grandchildren, Lacee Mains, Robert Mefford (Paulette), Ashley Henschen (Corey), Dustin Leonard (Lindsey), Eric Pollitt (Melissa), Marie Pollitt (Jeff Brown), Jay Pollitt (Brandy), Bradley Pollitt (Amber), Tony Horn and Ricky Horn. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
