He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Spiller and Margaret Spiller (Hauke); his wife Erma Jane Spiller (Paul); and his sisters, Catherine Rau and Joan Workman.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Spiller (Donna) of Cincinnati, Rick Spiller (Melissa) of Ripley, Randy Spiller (Gina) of Russellville and Rebekah Schumacher (Billie) of Ripley, Ohio; his siblings, Bill Spiller of Ripley, Ohio, Dave Spiller (Ruth) of Ripley, Ohio and Mary Hackman (Bob) of Cincinnati; and his friend Ann Taylor. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cahall Funeral Home (1011 S 2nd St, Ripley, OH 45167). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (16 N 4th St, Ripley, OH 45167).
