He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schumacher and Maxine Schumacher (Scott); his daughter Lori Wallace; and his sister Julia Lainhart. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Schumacher of Ripley; his daughter Amy Moore (Curtis) of Dublin, OH; his grandchildren, Annabeth and Logan; his nieces, Roxanne Bronner and Robin Perrin; and his nephew Brian Lainhart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope Care Center or to the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
