She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale McElfresh and Evelyn McElfresh (Little); her son William "Billy" Lawrence Cox; her stepdaughters, Jeanna Boling and Jody Shields (Boling); and her brother Glen McElfresh.
She is survived by: her husband James Douglas Cox; her daughter-in-law Dorena Palmer; and her granddaughter Macy Cox. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
