He is survived by: his wife Lynn Brooks-Wersel; his niece Jill Ernst of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister-in-law Linda Brooks-Ernst (Dennis) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his nephew Robert Ernst (Brittany) of Cincinnati.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cahall Funeral Home (1011 S 2nd St, Ripley, OH 45167). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
