He is survived by : his girlfriend Sharon Cahall (Smith) of Ripley, Ohio; his son Stephan Shinkle of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his siblings, Tom Kirk (Vicky) of Ross, Chuck Kirk (Linda) of Maysville, Nina Metz (Andy) of Batavia and Ron Shinkle (Toni) of Batavia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
