He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis William "Tooey" and Catherine Margaret Frebis (Pfeffer); his daughter Kathleen Ann Frebis; his son-in-law Rick Eagan; and his siblings, Robert Frebis and Sister Catherine Regina Frebis.

He is survived by : his wife Bernice Margaret Frebis (Neu); his children, Susan Caproni (Tim) of Ripley, Janie Wallace (Alvin) of Ripley, Margaret Eagan of Georgetown, David Frebis (Rachel) of Sardinia and Timothy Frebis (Amy) of Nicholasville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Regina Stauder, Tom Caproni (Maren), Christina Sebastian (Nick), Michael Caproni, Jessica Howard, Jeff Wallace (Caitlin), Heather Creighton (Jessie), Christian Wallace (Brittany), Doug Eagan (Sarah), Tiffany Regenstein (Ryan), Alex Lewis, Haleigh Mitchell and Ashley Frebis; his brothers, Ron Frebis (Mary) of Ripley, Ohio and Richard Frebis (Hilda) of Ripley, Ohio; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Neu of Lucasville and Roger Neu (Sandy) of West Harrison. He is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren.
