James C Kirwen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James C Kirwen of Risingsun, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude J. Kirwen and Vella M. Kirwen (Ottney); his son Terry Kirwen; and his sisters, Marilyn Kirwen and Jean E. Schwartz.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne P. Scherf of Ann's Catholic Church; his son Timothy Kirwen (Linda) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Rick, Scott Kirwen (Bethany) of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Kathleen Lowery (Greg) of Fostoria; his brother Haldon R. Kirwen of Texas; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Keri, Jeremy, Joshua, Nicolas, Kyle, Christopher, Justin, Suzanne, Makayla and Porter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Flag City Honor Flight.
