It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Smith of Risingsun, Ohio, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Smith and Martha Smith (Baden); and his siblings, Jim, John and Donna May.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley K. Babcock; his sons, Ryan Smith (Debbie) and Russ Smith (Stacy); his grandchildren, Keegan, Cameron, Alexa and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Georgia and Matilda.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of God in Risingsun.
