She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Houts and Nancy Houts (Camp). She is survived by: her children, Crystal Peyton (Noel) of Gibsonville, NC and Vernon "Vern" Thompson (Lindsay) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Zeke, Abby Peyton, Diana, Tucker, Emma and Garrett Thompson; and her sisters, Phyllis Dull (Thomas) of Seville, OH, Linda Gilardi (Charles) of Murfreesboro, TN and Janet Paxton (Roy) of Medina, OH.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family requests that donations be made in Doris's memory to Rittman Grace Brethren Church, 44 S. First St., Rittman, OH 44270.
