He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Acker; his son Darrin Acker; his brother Ted Acker; and his sister-in-law Frances Acker. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Acker of Akron and Scott Acker of Madison, AL; his grandchildren, Jessica Pagniano (Tim) of Creston, Nina Acker of Rittman, Chelsea Dodson (Doug) of Canton, Ashley Acker of Madison, AL and Logan Acker of Madison, AL; his great grandchildren, Sage Pagniano of Creston, Bentley and Brody Dodson of Canton; and his siblings, Roger Acker of Staten Island, NY, Dean Acker (Maggie) of Richmond, KY and Genean Clark of Wooster.
