He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Zollinger and Clara Zollinger (Gasser); and his siblings, Katherine Laukhuf, Martha Dotterer, Marian Hartzler, John Zollinger, Joseph Zollinger, Dorothy Zollinger and Linda Zollinger.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Kaser; and his children, Cheri Klotzle (John) of Marshallville, Ohio, Sue Warner (Stan) of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Jenny Hand (Dennis) of Dewey, Arizona, Todd Zollinger (Michele) of Sublimity, Oregon, Jim Zollinger (Tresa) of Silverton, Oregon and Scott Zollinger (Beth) of Silverton, Oregon. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church-Rittman (10699 Steiner Rd, Rittman, OH 44270).
