He is survived by: his children, Jodi Miller of St. Petersburg, FL, James Sawyers III of Charleston, WV, Kenneth Sawyers of Charleston, WV and Jamie Hernandez of Baltimore, MD; and his brother Mel Sawyers of Northfield, OH.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandchild.
