In loving memory of Kathy Barnes (Rittman, Ohio), born in Akron, Ohio, who departed this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Kathy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard and Leda; and her siblings, Dolly Stumpf, Ryan Barnes, Ty Barnes and Danny Manes.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Barnes, Wayne Anderson, Leda Mumford (Frank) and Joshua Ware; her grandchildren, Richard (Hayley), Corey, Courtney (Ben), Katie, Austin, Frankie and Hunter; her great grandchildren, Carter, Tatum and Hayden; her siblings, Donald Manes (Toni), Mary Pickrell (Virgil), Renee Oplinger, Kurt Barnes (Barb), Howard Barnes and Mark Barnes (Lori); and her close friend Alvin.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Eastern Road Church of God (2600 Eastern Rd, Rittman, OH 44270).
The family asks that all memorials be made to the Eastern Road Church of God in Kathy's name.
