She is survived by: her children, Lloyd K. Carpenter, Judy Jackson, James Carpenter (Judy), Carolyn Stehler (Robert), Joseph "Jojo" E. Carpenter and John "Johnny" A. Carpenter. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
