He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Vallery and Gertrude Vallery (Pflugi); his daughter Katie; his grandparents, Beatrice, Percy Woomer, John and Anna Pflugi; his brother Gerard "Jerry"; his sister-in-law Roseanne Vallery; and his mother-in-law Edna Goldman.

He is survived by: his spouse Shawn Vallery (O'Mahen); his children, Kelley, Kristopher and Matthew Vallery; his grandchildren, Charley Ullman, Emma Overholt, Faith, Zoey, CJ, Lena and Solomon Vallery; his great grandchildren, Ariel and Ivan; and his brother-in-law Don O'Mahen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital, One Perkins Square, Akron, Ohio 44308-1062.
