He was predeceased by: his parents, Watt Christy and Blanch Christy (Hartshorn); his wife Theodora M. Crall; his grandson Dylan Christy; and his siblings, Lloyd Christy, Gene Christy and Faye O'Shaughnessy.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Whims (Michael) of Rittman and Ralph Christy (Lori) of Rittman; his grandchildren, Shannon Baldwin (Sean), Jessica and Tanner Christy; his great grandchild Evie; and his sister Arlene Stupak.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Auble-Gillman Funeral Home (360 W Sunset Dr, Rittman, OH 44270). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
