He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Martin and Johanna Martin (Brandt); his former wife Joyce Martin (Bowen); and his children, Scott Martin and Brenda Claycomb.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Martin (Beckwith); his children, Kathie Williams (Randy) of Lebanon, Gail Davis (Ken) of Oxford, William Martin of Geneva and Kelli Alspaugh (Stephen) of Bryan; his son-in-law William Claycomb of Rock Creek; and his siblings, Walter Martin, Rudolph Martin, Reinhold Martin, Arthur Martin, Harold Martin, Fred Martin, Esther Martin, Erna Krause and Mildred Keeney. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
