With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Krumlauf of Rockbridge, Ohio, born in Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Edward Thomas Freeman. She is survived by : her mother Doris Howell Freeman of North Carolina; her husband Michael E. Krumlauf; her daughters, Jennifer Krumlauf (Adam Weisberg) of Upper Arlington and Lacey Hoffmann (Ben) of Lakewood, Ohio; her grandchildren, Katniss Weisberg, Alma Weisberg, Naomi Weisberg, Xander Hoffmann, James Hoffmann and Wesley Hoffmann; and her siblings, Howard Freeman (Penny) of Princeton, Edward Freeman Jr. (Tammy) of Pikeville, Betty Anne Nelson (Dana) of Morgan Hill, Diana Freeman (Don) of Princeton, Mona Sears (Larry) of Duvall, Carol Jean Freeman of Princeton and Judy Shirley (Gary) of Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
