We bid farewell to Janell Kolter (Rockford, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2026 at the age of 99. Janell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janell leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Griggs and Virgil Griggs (Wilson); her husband Ted; and her daughter Denny. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Katterheinrich (Kim), Tim Kolter (Ilona) and Teddy Joe Kolter. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
