He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pankop and Doris Pankop (Imhoff); and his brothers, Nelson Pankop and Wayne Pankop. He is survived by: his close friend Priscilla Helmer of Rockford; his children, Brian Pankop and Ginger Bixler; his grandson Jeremy Bixler of Fort Wayne, IN; and his siblings, Sheila Oppel of King, NC, Leatha Fairchild of Butler, IN, Norm and Mary Bernahl of Chicago, IL.
