She was predeceased by: her father Jack Owen; her son Mark Maurer; her parents-in-law, John and Winifred Maurer; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Snider, Jack Maurer and David Young.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Maurer; her daughters, Melanie Kay Weaver (William) of Ada and Megan Marie Imwalle (Ryan) of Mendon, Ohio; her sister Anita Edwards (Dan) of Grove City; her grandchildren, Aeris Weaver, Anden Weaver, Allison Imwalle and Grayson Imwalle; and her siblings-in-law, Pam Young of Celina, Ohio and Dale Snider of Mendon, Ohio..
During Covid she also made many face masks.
