He is survived by: his wife Neva Lucille Ransbottom (Jolly); his children, Joni Oyer (Dave), Scott Ransbottom (Angie), Kent Ransbottom (Michelle) and Chad Ransbottom (Kara); his grandchildren, Jordan Oyer (Anh), Landon Oyer (Annie), Madison Suciu (Caleb), Claudia Ransbottom, Rachael Ransbottom, Trey Ransbottom (Kennedy) and Destiny Schabbing (Jacob); his sister Nancy Smith; and his sister-in-law Mary Kay Ransbottom. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rockford United Methodist Church (202 S Franklin St, Rockford, OH 45882).
