He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stephenson and Sarah "Gene" Stephenson (Harrison). He is survived by: his wife Judy Secaur; his children, T. Kirk Stephenson (Jennifer) of Mendon, Eric Stephenson (Amy) of Rockford, Ohio and Kristin Jamison (Matt) of Spencerville, Ohio; his brothers, David Stephenson (Charlene) of Rockford and Mark Stephenson (Twyla) of California; his grandchildren, Jordan Stephenson (Andi), Kayla Stephenson, Adam Stephenson, Paige Stephenson, Kamryn Jamison and Karmyn Jamison; and his great grandchild Tatum Stephenson.
