She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Papouras; her sister Eleni Tryfonidou; and her parents, Paschalis Maheras and Alexandra Maheras. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Volakis (John) and Alexandra Dedes (George); and her grandchildren, Leonithas I. Volakis and Alexandro I. Volakis (Stephanie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Demetrios Philoptochos Society.
