He was predeceased by: his parents, Laverne Cleary and Emmett J. Cleary; and his siblings, Farrell (Jennifer) and Kevin (Gale). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Marypat Schrantz (Jason), Emmett P., O. D. (Coleen) and Sheila Petersen (Eric); and his sibling Lynn Forsblom (Don).
