He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Lois; his children, Linda J. Covault (Sam) and Thomas C. Preslan (Laura); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha Covault, Lee Preslan, Matt and Bill Haid.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zeis McGreevey Funeral Home & Cremation Service (16105 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
