He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore and Julia Leona Leightner (Miller); his granddaughter Kera Lemasters Leskovec; and his sister Gerry McMillan. He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Leightner (Little); his children, Deni Lemasters (Denny) and Jeffrey Leightner; his grandchildren, Craig Lemasters (Taylor), Lindsay Leightner, Dalton Leightner (Helen) and Seth Leightner; his great grandchild Avalee Lemasters; and his brother Richard "Dick" Leightner (Josy).
