He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Abner and Myrtle Abner (Saylor); and his siblings, Harold Abner, Priscilla Royal and Roberta Abner.
He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Joshua Abner (Jessica) and Elizabeth Calihan (Derek); his grandchildren, Brayden Abner, Carsyn Abner, Tucker Calihan and Lily Calihan; his siblings, Pam Fiehrer (Greg) and Carlos Abner; his niece Sophia Aileen Fleenor; and his grandchildren, John, Sheilah Johnson and Scott Fleenor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special life-long friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charles C. Young Funeral Home (4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd, Ross, OH 45061). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
