He was predeceased by: his pets, Arthur, Stanley and Walter; his sister Jennifer; and his grandparents, Elizabeth "Betty" Mergy, Margaret and Karl Grohal.
He is survived by: his parents, Thomas J. Grohal and Janet Grohal (Mergy); his wife Amber Helton; his pets, Gus and Felix; his sisters, Theresa Baumgartner (Andy) and Julie Whitaker (Rick); and his mother-in-law Gloria Helton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; also many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charles C. Young Funeral Home (4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd, Ross, OH 45061). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Julie Billiart Church (224 Dayton St, Hamilton, OH 45011).
