She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chesnut and Sallie Chesnut (Pigg); her husband Edward Carl Sauerland; and her siblings, Bill Chesnut and Margaret Heinrich.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Schulte (John) and Mark Sauerland (Amy); her grandchildren, Leah Bishop (David), Maranda Gonzalez (Matthew), Olivia Soldano (Matt), Joshua Schulte (Casey) and Nathan Schulte (Kayla Nowlin); her great grandchildren, Orlando, Quinton, Eleanor, Vivian and Curtis; and her brothers, Roy and David Chesnut. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
