With solemn reverence, we commemorate Allen Reed Cox of Roundhead, Ohio, whose life came to an end on June 6, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cox and Frances Cox (Reed); his son Andrew Reed Cox; his siblings, Peggy Badertscher and Jim Cox; and his wife Marsha Vertner.
He is survived by: his daughter Erin Brown (Jeff) of Orient, OH; his grandchildren, Monica Cox, Mackenzie Haygood (TreVon), Alexis Brown, Alyssa Brown and Austin Brown; his great grandchildren, Cambryn, Lorenzo, Emerson and Andie; and his brother Gene Cox of Waynesfield, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shoffstall Funeral Home (205 S Main St, Lakeview, OH 43331). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
